Back in the DC Area

So I'm back in the DC, or at least around it, once again. I got done with my whirlwind tour of Newport News and the Idaho desert, and am now moved into my new pad in Arlington. It's a pretty nice place, with good access to the highways, the commissary, and a pretty nice view to boot.

Well I've got a eulogy to make also: my car is officially gone. I had Midas give me an estimate on the brakes, and it was more than the car was worth. I snagged a 2005 civic on clearance, and it's a pretty good car. Before you ask, yes, I fit in it fine. They've actually gotten rather accommodating in the past few years. I figure it will be a good car to put a few miles on over the next few years while I work my way up the pay scale.

Other than that, I feel like crap today, physically. I worked out hardcore on Friday ('cause I haven't since the last PRT, and there's one next month!), and them helped some co-workers move across town yesterday. Ow. Today I'm taking it easy as a result.

I've been in and out of work this week, since my boss is on travel this past week. I'll be seeing him on Monday, though. He's the hardass of the section, though, so I don't know what to expect. He's got a reputation, but I don't know what it will be like to work for him yet. Time will tell, I suppose. I'd say what I'm working on, but then I'd just become a target for international spies ;-)

Well that's about all I've got for the moment. Looking forward to going to the ND-Washington game next week though, for sure.
